I’m Katie, a wedding invitation designer from Boston, Massachusetts.
My days are filled with paper and people — two things I love! Whether I’m reviewing proofs for the slightest details or chatting with you about your design dreams, I’m heartened by the experience and reminded how much I love what I do!
Consider me your personal wedding invitation designer,

We’ll work closely together to design an invitation you’ll love.
You can even make an appointment and create your invitations
in-person at our new studio in Norwood, MA.
If you prefer to design your invitations remotely, that works for us as well!

PAPER IS ONE OF THOSE THINGS THAT CATCHES MY ATTENTION
I can’t help but notice the quality of paper and press. With Serif and Sans, you can expect an invitation that not only looks good in design, but feels even better when you’re holding it in your hands. There’s something about the texture, weight and even the imprint of letterpress that makes a difference.
Stationery design slipped into my life when I was 14. Since then, I have managed five stationery stores and sold invitations for over 18 years. I studied graphic design at Eastern Illinois University. Serif and Sans officially opened in late 2018, creating New England wedding invitations for local brides and then branching out from there.
I still just love stationery! I have always wanted to be an
entrepreneur and with my passion for paper and design,
wedding invitation design fit me perfectly.

I come from a very creative family with everything from painters and sculptors to architects

I love dogs (the bigger and fluffier, the better. I’ve had six golden retrievers)

My husband and I have known each other since we were 7 and got married on April 27, 2019

I have a son named Henry (3) and a daughter named Olivia (1). They are my world!

I have lived in six major cities across the U.S.

Even though my studio is Norwood, MA, I actually live in Barrington, RI. We moved to Barrington from Boston in 2023 to purchase out first home
That’s a brief sketch of my life, but for right now, all I can think about is how much I look forward to creating a custom invitation just for you.
